Supports of Governor John Bel Edwards have changed tactics for a local event. The March in Support of John Bel Edwards is now "Let's Vote Together."
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. at 210 North 18th Street, with speakers beginning at 5 p.m. The event features food, rides to the polls, and volunteer activism. Those attending will be asked to volunteer to increase voter turnout on election day.
At the conclusion of the event, those attending will cast ballots at the Ouachita Parish Health Unit on DeSiard.
