The Veterans' Day Celebration will begin at 4:00 p.m., at the Chennault Museum, with events recognizing those who have served, and are serving our country.

The Chennault Aviation and Military Museum is hosting a Veterans' Day Celebration this Friday, November 11th. This event encourages the community to come together and say a big 'Thank You' to America's veterans.

The Veterans' Day Celebration will kick off at 4 p.m. with food and free tours of the museum. The ceremony starts at 5:30 p.m. with Congressman Abraham, a veteran himself, as the guest speaker. After his speech, a special Christmas tree lightning will take place. There will be five trees to represent the five branches of the U.S. military, and each tree will be decorated with ornaments that commemorate loved ones who serve and have served this country.

Nell Calloway, CEO of the museum, says, "of course, everyday at the museum is Veterans' Day... but this particular day gets the public the come out and honor our veterans and heritage."

The Chennault Aviation and Military Museum is located at 701 Kansas Lane. More information on the Veterans' Day Celebration can be found here.
