Big Creek Trade Days Invites Vendors to Open Shop

Big Creek Trade Days

"Mom and Pop" businesses across the Ark-La-Miss will have a new place to gather in north central Louisiana. Big Creek Trade Days in Ruston holds an open house for vendors February 6th and 7th.

Owners Vida Diamond and Connie Watts say they want to offer a secure location for venders to sell their wares to the community. The open house event allows vendors to see the facilities and spaces available for rent.

Already a number of food, woodworking, textile, soap, and antique dealers have already signed up, citing the availability of both secure indoor and outdoor facilities.

"We want this to be a family process, and we want it to be a destination," says Diamond.

The facility also boasts a children's area and a "Man Cave," complete with TV's for shoppers to get away from the crowds.

"We hope to get a lot of traffic and a lot of interest from both shoppers and non-shoppers," adds Watts.

A soft opening for the new facility is planned for the first weekend of May with the grand opening in June.

More information is available on the Big Creek Trade Days website.
