Artistry Shines at ULM Art Crawl

Arely Castillo
The ULM Art Crawl is held once every semester.

Thursday, March 9th the University of Louisiana Monroe will be holding its fourth annual Student Art Crawl. The art crawl will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is free to the public.

The crawl will be held at various spots across campus. Bry Hall will be featuring the 24th annual Junior and Senior High School Art competition, and Walker Hall will feature art from art majors and faculty on campus. Participants will also get to see students working on art in their private studios in Stubbs Hall along with art in the Sculpture Garden on campus.

Kappa Pi, the art fraternity on campus, will be guiding people throughout the crawl. Guests will also get to see ULM's talent through the cast of Pippin. The cast will be going around to the different galleries sampling some of the songs from the production, scheduled for March 23-26 in Brown Auditorium.

Guest will have the opportunity to buy artwork at the end of the night. The proceeds from the art go directly back to the student artists.
