Fredrick Louis
News ProducerFredrick Louis is a native of Monroe, Louisiana and has worked in and around Northeast Louisiana for more than 40 years. He graduated from Wossman High School and then went on to the University of Louisiana at Monroe to graduate with a B.S. in Mathematics. Following that, he attended Grambling State University where he received his M.A.T. He loves the city of Monroe and is always looking for a way to serve in the community. That love for community has led him to a 10-year career in teaching. He has worked in both the Monroe City and Ouachita Parish school systems. He was also a candidate for mayor in 2020 and has used that experience to show his students that you can do anything you want and that the only failure is not trying.
Fredrick started his career in mass communications at an early age. He would often help his father “spin” records through the 80’s for a radio show on local KNOE-CBS radio called the Heavenly Travelers Broadcast. Every Sunday Morning at 6:00 A.M. the sound of his father preaching filled the airwaves. It would develop into a love that would last until the present day.
His love for education led him back to school in 2022 to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a license in Counseling. As a passion, he loves writing and oral presentations. He loves to learn new things and discover new ways to make an impact on his world.
Above all, Fredrick is a family man and loves to spend time with his family. He is married to the wonderful Lady Erika Louis and together they share two wonderful daughters. His present goals are to prepare for his career as a Family Therapist.
