OCS Sleuths in Training learn forensic science at LDCC

Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) is hosting Ouachita Christian School’s (OCS) fourth-grade students tomorrow, Friday, April 26, at 8:30 a.m. at the Monroe Campus location, 7500 Millhaven Road. Students will be divided into three groups and rotate through the Forensic Science lab, the biology lab, and the Chemistry lab, offering them a unique and enriching experience.

Claire Shepard, Professor of Forensic Science, says, “Introducing science-based careers to students at an early stage of their development is paramount as it unveils a wide realm of opportunities for them.” OCS students are about to embark on an exhilarating journey as they finish their forensic science block because now they’ll have the opportunity to work together to solve a thrilling murder mystery.

Students are expected to arrive by 8:30 and will prepare to be in labs by 8:45 a.m. Their day will conclude around 11 a.m.
