Ouachita Green and Ouachita Parish’s three local Keep Louisiana Beautiful affiliates- Keep Ouachita Parish, Keep Monroe, and Keep West Monroe Beautiful- host the annual America Recycles Day, Saturday, November 11, 2023, 9am-1pm at the Monroe Civic Center. Residents of Ouachita Parish are encouraged to bring items to be recycled properly so they will not end up in our landfill. This will be a drive through event. Drive through and we will unload your trunk or trailer.
Participants are asked not to bring medication, paint, or other hazardous items, these will not be accepted. Items that will be accepted for recycling include:
- Paper
- Plastics
- Metal
- Electronics
- Tires(5 per household)
- Household Items
