The University of Louisiana Monroe is set to host Envision 2023 on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Clarke M. Williams Innovation Campus, 100 Centurylink Dr. in Monroe. Envision is an annual event hosted by ULM President Ron Berry where alumni, community members, and advocates alike gather to hear the vision for the university over the next year and beyond. The event kicks off with cocktails at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., and the program begins at 7:00 p.m.
“Envision is one of our signature events that offers a great evening of entertainment showcasing our ULM family, students, future students, alumni, and friends,” said President Berry. “Join us in celebrating all the accomplishments of ULM as we move boldly towards achieving the full potential of ULM and our region,” he added.
The evening’s entertainment program will feature a special guest performance from former Miss Louisiana and ULM alumna Nita Whitaker. Other performers include the ULM Choir, the Centennial Scholars, and a featured group of ULM alumni and employees known as The Envision Singers. They will be backed by a live band featuring local musicians that include ULM employees and students. The Centennial Scholars are local 5th graders who will make up the incoming freshman class of 2031, the university’s 100th year.
