Biedenharn Celebrates Coca-Cola Week

Tuesday, October 10th, kicks off the second annual Coca-Cola Week at the Biedenharn Museum and Gardens. This week will be filled with coke related activities for all ages and special opportunities for visitors. 

Tuesday night the week will begin with a Coca-Cola themed dinner at 6 p.m. in the gardens. Reservations are required to attend the dinner. Thursday, Randy Mayo, a fourth generation Coca-Cola bottler will give a conversational lecture on the history of Coca-Cola as well as the impact the soda has made on his life. The lecture will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Biedenharn Educational Building next to the Coke Museum. Director of the Biedenharn, Ralph Calhoun, shares that, "Anyone who has any interest in coke will find something to enjoy in Mayo's lecture." 

The week will wrap up Saturday with a series of events. The garden and museum will be open to the public free of charge for this end of the week celebration. There will be Diet Coke and Mentos geysers at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. as well as classic Coca-Cola trucks including a Model A Ford, a 1917 Model T,a Coca-Cola Panel Truck, and a 1946 Chevy Flat Bed delivery truck.
