NELA Arts Council Summer Film Series - Short Film Night
The 2022 series kicks off Wednesday, May 18 with a Short Films Night. The line-up includes:
• LEA – A tribute to the life and ministry of local Reverend Lea Joyner. Beginning in June 1952 with a vacant lot, no people, no building, and half the money generally given new churches by the Louisiana Methodist conference, over the next 33 years Lea’s church grew to include over 2,000 members.
• Louisiana Tapestry – Two short films celebrating two northeast Louisiana culture bearers Enoch Doyle Jeter and VP Dalrymple
