Arkansauce with guest James Linden Hogg

Arkansauce with guest James Linden Hogg

Allow us to introduce you to your new favorite band (even if you don't know it yet).
Arkansauce. Are they Bluegrass? Are they Rock? Are they Blues? Are they Jazz? The short answer to all of those questions is "yes."

Arkansauce is Tom Andersen on bass, Zac Archuleta on guitar, Ethan Bush on mandolin, and Adams Collins on banjo. Their music features improvisational string leads matched with complex melodies, intriguing rhythms, and deep thumping bass grooves. Each member sings lead and harmony parts as well as contributes to the lyrics, which offer authentic, intelligent songwriting with hard-hitting hooks. Arkansauce kicks off the Louisiana Peach Festival weekend than with a concert at the Dixie Center for the Arts.

Opening for Arkansauce is Louisiana's own James Linden Hogg who is an American musician, writer, and storyteller.ogg’s instruments include violin, or fiddle, banjo, guitar, piano, bagpipes, mandolin, fife, pennywhistle, and accordion. Hogg intends, through his music and writing, to offer people a new way of seeing the world, which is not actually new, but an ancient way forged in tradition and custom.
