| Volunteer at KEDM One of the integral factors in the success of Public Radio is its volunteer staff. Of course, volunteers are a key factor of every membership drive: answering telephones, taking pledges, providing food, running errands, distributing premiums, as well as financially supporting their favorite programs. But volunteers may also participate in other ways throughout the year. Some of KEDMs past and present announcers and program hosts are volunteers. Richard Harrison, Bernadette Cahill, Mark Henderson, Dr. Anita Sharma, Mike Luster, Dr, John Rettenmeyer and Dick Morris to name just a few. Volunteers assist in a variety of other, behind the scenes activities, as well. The most successful Public Radio stations are built on an army of volunteers. KEDM needs more volunteers and will train interested and dedicated community members who are willing to spend the time and want to explore their options within their community radio station. We need volunteer help in diverse areas, such as cataloging, maintaining, and growing our music library; program producers; fundraising project coordinators; news reporters and assistants; audience liaisons; equipment maintenance; and so on. You may just want to be involved, somehow, or have a very specific idea of how you would like to contribute. If so, contact us and well be happy to discuss how you might volunteer a few hours a week or a month and become a member of the KEDM Volunteer Staff. for more information and options in volunteerism. And thanks for your interest and support. Below is a current list of KEDM's Board Members:
