Winter Weather Advisory for N. La. and S. Ark.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT... light to moderate rainfall has been slow transitioning
to a freezing rain or snow or sleet mix, as temperatures
continue to drop to subfreezing temperatures. Although areas
that experiencing above freezing temperatures may be
experiencing rainfall, as temperatures continue to fall
throughout the morning, it will have the chance to transition
to a wintry mix. Some areas such as southwest Arkansas could see
ice accumulations of around 0.01 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Arkansas, southwest Arkansas,
north central Louisiana and northeast Louisiana.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...roadways could become slick especially
elevated roadways such as bridges and overpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling, especially in open areas. The
latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be
obtained by calling 5 1 1.
