United Way Breaks Fundraising Record with $4 Million

United Way of Northeast Louisiana

United Way of Northeast Louisiana celebrated the end of a record-breaking fundraising campaign with a luncheon on Monday. The organization raised $4,016,000 during the campaign that started in fall of 2014.

Overall giving saw a 6.7 % increase in giving overall, and employee giving was up 7%.

2014 campaign chair Bob Webber, superintendent of Ouachita Parish Schools, thanked campaign volunteers who were instrumental in this year's success.

Awards were presented to leaders in various parts of the campaign, as well as to the top ten campaign leaders in Ouachita Parish.

Tuesday, the organization will hold a similar luncheon in Lincoln Parish
