In celebration of Women's History Month, the University of Louisiana at Monroe is set to host their third annual Women's Symposium in the new event center.

The symposium was created in an effort to empower girls and women to strive for their professional goals, pursue their passions and seek all leadership roles. Although the women's symposium emphasizes women empowerment, men are strongly encouraged to attend the event. The symposium will feature discussions about issues women face everyday in a panelist/moderator format as well as a keynote speaker.

Last Year, ULM brought in different female leaders from the community and they hosted panels that discussed Entrepreneurialism, Wealth Management, Professional Growth, Women in STEM, Transferable Skills, Leadership, Women’s Health, Business Culture and Communication.
