Motel Stay Turns To Mayhem in Strauss Dinner Theatre

courtesy Strauss Theatre Center

All's fair in love and murder, or ist it?  The question is the premise of Murder at the Howard Johnson's, a murder mystery dinner theatre at Strauss Theatre Center.

The suspense comedy involves a love triangle at a Howard Johnson's Motor Inn.  "What begins as a three- night stay at the motel turns very different as things start to happen," says Laura King, who plays Arlene.  The quick wit of the trio keep the audiences entertained as the cast encounters  troubled and traumatic scenarios.

"This triangle continues to turn during the show," says Dane Warner, who is cast as Arlene's husband. "You see this angle building, then the tables are turned by another character.  It's fast-paced and funny," sais Warner.

Dinner is catered by Chef Pat Nolan.  Performances begin Friday, March 13 at the Strauss Theatre Center.
