Monroe Symphony and Sinatra

Magan Bass
Steve Lippia is a Sinatra singer in Las Vegas.

Saturday, March 18th, the Monroe Symphony Orchestra is holding its Spring POP's Concert, Simply Sinatra. The concert will be held in the Monroe Civic Center Arena at 7 p.m.

Steve Lippia, a practical double for Sinatra's voice, will be the guest singer at this concert. Lippia will be singing classic Sinatra music, along with classical swing music. Still an orchestra concert, Lippia will be accompanied by the orchestra.

Also upcoming in the Symphony's schedule is  the Tchaikovsky Spectacular at the Jack Howard Theater, April 29th. This concert will feature music from the late romantic period, such as the Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture and the Piano Concerto No.1
