Monroe Chamber of Commerce is seeking new members. Membership applications are available here.

According to Chairman of the Board Billy Haddad, the goal of the Chamber is to serve the needs of the business community throughout Northeast Louisiana. "Our mission is to lead in the creation of a thriving business environment," says Haddad. "We pride ourselves in getting new businesses."

The Chamber currently has a membership of over 800 people, which represents a large part of the business community in the NELA region. The Chamber accepts businesses of all sizes and is looking to expand their membership.

"About three years ago, I started a new business here," says member Jay Mulhearn. Getting involved with the Chamber was one of Mulhearn's first actions in Monroe. "It keeps me involved with what's going on. I've made some great connections, both business and friends." Mulhearn goes on to say, " The Monroe Chamber of Commerce, as Billy said, is really about creating a thriving economic environment in this part of NELA, and I just want to be a part of that."

More information about becoming a member of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce is available by calling Sarita Daniel at 318-323-3461. Applications are available here.
