Groundbreaking season for LDCC

Monroe-Louisiana Delta Community College is breaking ground on its Tallulah Campus. The main building will be getting an expansion. Currently, the main building stands at 30,727 sq. ft. The new addition will ad 6,767 sq ft, totaling out at 37,494 sq ft. The cost of the new addition is $2.5 million from the state plus $465,031 is the local match.

This project will allow an additional space for the nursing program: nursing programs, a biology lab, and office space. "We are looking forward to the extra space needed for students and the equipment upgrade," shares Scott Cox, Campus Director at Louisiana Delta Community College-Tallulah Campus.

The project is expected to be complete in August 2019. Louisiana Delta Community College will continue to serve students out of the existing building for the next several months.
