Friends of KEDM

KEDM has its very own "street team," the Friends of KEDM. The Friends group of volunteers assists the station in two important ways: by raising funds for public radio and by helping promote the station throughout our region.

Led by president Babbette Adcock, Friends is a regular participant during Monroe/West Monroe’s bi-monthly Downtown Gallery Crawls. At the Crawls, the Friends table is always the place to sample treats from their cookbook, Variations & Improvisations.

Friends has also produced successful fundraisers for public radio, including annual spring wine tastings and summer beer tastings. Not only do these events bring financial benefits to KEDM, but they also connect the station with its listeners and listeners with each other.
