Dr. Ralph Brown, associate professor of History at the University of Louisiana at Monroe presents a lecture on the “Collapse of the Soviet Union” at the Lincoln Parish Public Library in Ruston, Thursday October 25th at 6:30 p.m.  Brown will speak about the societal impact of the Cold War, and how the collapse of the U.S.S.R. radically changed the world's economic and political environment. The event is free and open to those 18 and older.
