The University of Louisiana at Monroe presents Scot Humes in a clarinet recital at the Biedenharn Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. Scot Humes also has a collaborator pianist professor, Richard Seiler.
The common thread among the works on the program is the subject of dance. Each work is either an actual dance or dance form, or is the composers evocation of a dance. Pieces included are by composers: J.S. Bach, Witold Lutoslawski, Chen Yi, Libby Larsen, and Astor Piazzola.
