Description:
“Woman, Spirit, Earth: Nymphs, Naiades & Nature,” is music about women in real, mythical, and supernatural form. This varied program consists of duo and solo repertoire for both the flute and harp, folk songs from the British Isles arranged for voice and harp, as well as a voice/harp arrangement of the well known operatic aria “Rusalka’s Song to the Moon.”
The program features American, British, French & Czech composers, including: Carl Nielsen, Benjamin Britten, Claude Debussy, Camille Saint-Saens, Charles Delaney, Robert Litton & Antonin Dvorak.
