Tie-Dye Day! NCLAC Arts Academy
The North Central Louisiana Arts Council presents Tie-Dye Day, with fiber artist Rachel Johnston. While parents work on Columbus Day, students will be out of school, so NCLAC is offering a day-long class on tie-dying techniques for students ages 7-12. The class will be held at the Dixie Center for the Arts on Monday, October 14, from 9am-3pm.
Students should bring a 100% cotton shirt and one other item to dye, as well as a sack lunch. All other supplies as well as a light snack will be included in the class fee of $25 for NCLAC members, $30 for non-members. No experience is necessary, but pre-registration is required by calling (318)255-1450. Workshop space is limited. Send questions to firstname.lastname@example.org NCLAC is supported by a grant from the Louisiana State Arts Council through the Louisiana Division of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
