Lions Club District Governor to speak at Downtown Lions Club

District 8 Governor, James Ballard, will be the guest speaker at the Downtown Lions Club meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at noon at the Clarion Inn in Monroe. Ballard will share with members and guests about current projects by the organization. One primary program of the Lions Club assists visually-handicapped individuals, by collecting eyeglasses that are repurposed for the needy in local areas.
