KEDM's Policy and a Pint
The banks of the Ouachita River could undergo dramatic changes if a project addressing levee encroachments and tree removal along the river goes forward.
The plan by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers calls for clearance of a buffer zone along two hundred miles of the Ouachita River, including the Monroe and West Monroe area. Executing that plan could change the face of the levees along the river.
On Tuesday, October 30th at 5 p.m., join us for KEDM's “Policy & A Pint” at Jeff’s Place, 1810 Tower Drive in Monroe. It's a public discussion for you to ask questions and share your thoughts on the project. Bob Lenox will moderate a guest panel of experts. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Jeff's Place provides the appetizers; you provide the discussion!
