A new monthly Grief Support Group will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the Forsythe Avenue Church of Christ, 2101 Forsythe Ave. in Monroe. The group is open to anyone grieving the death of a friend or family member whether the loss is recent or any time in the past.
Grief Support Group provides a warm, safe and comfortable place for those in grief to learn more about the grief recovery process as well as hear testimonies from other people who have experienced many kinds of losses. The group will meet on the second Tuesday of each month.
September's topic will be "What Everyone Should Know about Grief."
