The 'Girl Scouts of Louisiana Pines to the Gulf' serves 42 parishes in the State of Louisiana. The Louisiana Girl Scout Council is celebraing their 100th anniversary by bringing in Girl Scouts from around the State for a special celebration in Alexandria on February 25th. A trade show event will highlight festivities planned for the year. Girl Scouts will participate in different booths and crafts. Every Girl Scout is encouraged to participate in 100 hours of community service during the Centennial celebration. The Girls Scouts also continue their long-standing fundraiser of selling cookies.
