March is the 30th anniversary of Women's History Month. In commemoration, Monroe Business and Professional Women are featuring "What Southern Women Really Want," a humorous presentation by Shellie Tomlinson of All Things Southern.
Shellie has written "Suck in Your Stomach and Put Some Color On" and "Lessons Learned on Bull Run Road" about her southern upbringing. The public is invited to this event, but registration is required, as seating is limited. RSVP to Edna Haden @ 372-5699 or Peggy Wells @ 665-5516.
