Phil Hoose shares about his new, award-winning book, “Moonbird: A year on the Wind with the Great Survivor B95.” in a presentation on Friday, January 11th, at 6:30 p.m., at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge. The book is about a red knot shorebird that has been tracked by scientists for 18 years on his annual migrations from the top of the world to the bottom and back. The presentation, sponsored by the Nature Conservancy, is free and open to the public.
