Youth Art Project Celebrates State Bicentennial | 8-10-12

A local youth program participated in an art project commemorating Louisiana's 200 years of statehood.  The project, funded by the Bicentennial Commission, will be archived in the state's historical records.  Students applied what they learned about Louisiana history in paintings. Pieces will be displayed in state museums and offices in celebration of the bicentennial.
