Tiger Cub Scouts Tour KEDM | 2-2012

The Pack 37 Tiger Cub Scouts had a look behind the scenes at KEDM Public Radio in February.

As part of earning a badge on communications, the scouts toured the studios and offices, where they learned how radio is an effective way to get information quickly to a local audience. They also heard about the listener-support funding for public radio stations like KEDM, and some basics of audio production.

Pack 37 Den Leader Paul Wiedemeier coordinated the trip with KEDM Program Director Jay Curtis, and the group was joined by several other dads.
