Students involved in foreign language studies may not  recognize the professional opportunities available to them.  The Festival of World Languages, hosted by the University of Louisiana at Monroe's Foreign Language Department, shares some of those possibilities with high school students.  The head of the department, Dr. Ruth Smith, along with River Oaks School Spanish teacher, Alex Shambro, share on festival activities and the impact on students who attend.
