Sequestration Could Slice Into Monroe Airport Operations | 2-26-13

Monroe Regional Airport is on the list for possible cuts if a federal budget deal isn't made by Friday.  Airport Director Ron Phillips says air traffic control operators would be affected, and cuts could extend to TSA personnel.  A number of actions are possible including furloughs, elimination of overnight shifts, and closure of some air traffic control facilities.
