Dr. Joe Profit is noted as the first African-American football player at then-Northeast Louisiana State College.  A promising NFL career was dashed following a devastating knee injury.  Yet, the Lake Providence native successfully transitioned his path from athletics to business.  He is the founder, President and CEO of Multimedia Digital Broadcast Corporation in Atlanta, GA.  He shares his story tonight at 7:30, in the 7th floor ballroom of the ULM Library.
