"Policy & A Pint" Opens Talk On Levee Project | 10-30-12
An Army Corps of Engineers project calls for the removal of trees and other encroachments along the Ouachita River levees. It would create a "buffer zone", intended to lessen potential impact of a severe weather event on the levee system. KEDM opens a discussion on the plan during "Policy & A Pint", a public conversation on the project. The event is this afternoon from 5-6:30pm at Jeff's Place on Tower Drive in Monroe.
