Dr. Bruce Saunders is professor Emeritus at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. Saunders has spent more than 40 years researching the chambered nautilus. His presentation, "Was Evolution of Biological Complexity a Random Process or a Product of Drive, Biased Selection?" examines the development and evolution of an extinct order of mollusks known as ammonites.
Dr. Gary Stringer, curator of the museum and head of the University of Louisiana at Monroe department of Atmospheric Science, Earth Science and Physics talks with Dr. Saunders about how his research offers an intriguing insight into earth history.
