Orchestra To Tell Musical Stories of 'Legends & Landscapes'
The Monroe Symphony Orchestra opens the 2011-12 season with a performance titled 'Legends & Landscapes'. The concert will be this Saturday evening at 7pm, in the Jack Howard Theatre. Selections include En Saga by Sibelius, and The Moldau by Smetana. The orchestra will be joined by current Marjorie Stricklin Emerging Artists winner, Minijeong Kim, for a special performance. Conductor Clay Couturiaux previews this first concert of the MSO's 41st season.
