MSO: "Proud To Be An American" | Lagniappe 4-8-11

Monroe Symphony Orchestra Conductor Clay Couturiaux previews the MSO's Pops concert performance, "Proud To Be An American", with special guest vocalist, Ben Utecht.  Utecht, a former NFL tight end with the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts, shares his story of performing music and developing that talent during and after his pro football career.  The concert, Saturday evening at the Monroe Civic Center, will feature stirring renditions of patriotic tunes.
