School administrators are responsible for compliance with a dizzying array of laws that affect K-12 education. April 30, the University of Louisiana at Monroe hosted its first School Law Conference to provide training on many of the legal issues.

Dr. Wendell Brumfield, vice-president for student affairs, says the conference is the first of its kind in northeast Louisiana.
