The field of pharmacy has changed dramatically in recent years. Pharmacists are more directly involved in how the medicines in your cabinet affect your overall health. The next generation of pharmacy graduates will work more directly with patients than ever before.
Dr. Lesa Lawrence, associate dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, says that picking up a prescription should be the beginning of a relationship, not the end. She examines how ULM meets the need for medication therapy management and the growth of the opportunities available to pharmacy graduates.
