Business Development Center to receive $50,000 business incubation grant
Mentorship in business is an important factor that can determine whether a fledgling company survives or crashes. The Northeast Louisiana Business and
Director of the Northeast Louisiana Business and community Development Center, Susan Duggins and Dean of the College of Business Administration Dr. Ron Berry say that the grant moves the center another step closer to a new home.
Business Symposium links national leaders to local businesses, students
The College of Business is working to put students in touch with the business world. The Business Symposium, a
conference held in conjunction with ULM’s Homecoming activities, brings successful alumni and friends to campus for sessions with students and area business leaders.
College of Business Dean Ron Berry says the symposium offers students a chance to rub shoulders with local and national businesses, and can provide contacts that turn into internships or even job placements.
