Boards And Commissions Increase In Louisiana | 8-22-12

A Legislative Auditor's report shows there are more boards and commissions now than in 2008.  The findings show as of June 2012, the state had 492 such panels created by law or executive order.  In 2008, the number stood at 484.  Council For A Better Louisiana President Barry Erwin shares on the creation and purpose of some boards.  He also discusses what the legislature may consider in addressing per diems and salaries to board members.
