Sharon Cheney Profile: Pride in Student Success | ULM Forum 6-1-12

Sharon Chaney, the clinical coordinator for the University of Louisiana at Monroe Dental Hygiene, started teaching for a short time in 1979 after moving to Rayville. She says she was delighted to have the opportunity to do what she loved.

 

Cheney explains that one of her favorite parts of teaching is the moment when students "get it," and is proud that 100 percent of ULM Dental Hygiene students have passed the National Board Exam for several years.
