High Marks for ULM Nursing Program
As the Baby Boomers age, the current shortage of nurses in the U.S. is expected to worsen. Nursing programs around the country are making changes to graduate more nurses, but also maintain and even grow the quality of those graduates.

This spring, graduates of the University of Louisiana at Monroe School of Nursing outscored students from all other bachelor degree programs in the state on the national license exam.
Dr. Emily Doughty, interim director of the School of Nursing, says outstanding faculty and students are the key to the high passage rates.
