Artificial Rain: The Cost of Irrigation

Local farmers faced a month-long drought.  High temperatures and dry ground have put crop yield into question.  Irrigation systems have been implemented to aid many fields where crops like corn are in the prime of their growing season.  It's a process of fueling crops' growth by keeping diesel pumps churning water to the fields.
