KEDM began serving the Northeast Louisiana and Southern Arkansas area on April 23, 1991.  KEDM is licensed to The Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System and to The University of Louisiana at Monroe.

KEDM broadcasts at 90.3 FM with 87,100 watts of power, from an antenna approximately 900 feet high.  The signal broadcasts at a radius of approximately 60 miles reaching a 10+ parish area in Northeast Louisiana and 3+ counties in southern Arkansas.

We broadcast a line-up of in-depth news, classical, jazz and a variety of other musical genres, along with special entertainment & enriching programs 24 hours a day / 365 days a year.

KEDM is affiliated with two public radio networks:  National Public Radio (NPR) and American Public Media (APM).
NPR provides KEDM with programs such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Car Talk.  APM provides quality programs such as Prairie Home Companion & Marketplace.  KEDM also utilizes programming from independent producers and produces a number of local programs and features, as well.
